Slim Shady is perhaps best known for being one of the very few influencial white rappers in the hip hop industry, and not only one of the most critically acclaimed.

Marshall Mathers is in addition infamous for the controversy with respect to lots of slim shadys controversal lyrics, that has been stated by the critics to be racist, angry and dangerous.

However he is not slim shadys only opposition in the hip hop cosmos. Vanilla Ice told Vibe Magazine of late that Eminem "raps like a school girl" adding "I merely dont like that tiny squealing voice."

Marshall Bruce Mathers III also separates himself from the Ice man by going on the attack against most everybody in his lyrics.

Shopping Choices For Jeans by Jane Simpson

Shopping Choices For Jeans by Jane Simpson

Jeans are often considered as classics. Almost everyone, from toddlers to the elderly own at least a pair of jeans. Men used jeans as their classic uniform for years, while women often take the classic and put twists to update its look. Seven jeans used to be the staple in every woman's wardrobe. This is with good reason because the brand is one of the top jean-makers who offer great variety in terms of style and color. One could almost be certain to find the right pair in a Seven store.

Aside from the Seven jeans brand, another seemingly endless jean trend surfaced which is a far cry from the tight look of the 80's and 90's. The loose and baggy work pants style jeans which not only hide women's shape, but also cause unflattering silhouettes. These came with the new hiphop culture and was seen from rappers, to groupies, teenagers, and Hollywood stars. Fortunately, these trend in women's wear wore off soon enough and the only people left wearing them were male rappers.

Nowadays, women's jeans have more variety other than the super tight and high waisted jeans of the 80's. Gone are the days when women often wore too long blouses and shirts to cover up the bulges caused by the unrelenting denim fabric. Baggy jeans are also considered as fashion flubs. Jeans today are all about choices and more choices. This variety of choices makes jeans shopping quite a task. From rise, cut, wash, and texture, it has become a challenge to find the single perfect pair. But still, the old adage stands true. Buy jeans that fit your body well while accentuating your assets and skimming over your flaws. In short, use your body type as a guide in buying jeans.

Fashion insiders claim that the new trend in jeans today is the tight jeans. But this kind of tight jeans are not the 80's type. They are called tight but actually are just form-fitting. These are the most flattering jean style in market today because they follow the body's contours and are generally flattering to all shapes. Plus, these usually have Lycra in the fabric which in turn give them a bit of stretch and allow them to be more forgiving to bulges. Bootleg and straight cut tight jeans are usually preferred because they are the most flattering cuts. Dark colors also add up the slimming effect of these jeans. Stylists generally agree that pockets are important in either minimizing or enlarging backsides. Small pockets make behinds look larger, so these are perfect for women with bigger upper bodies for a balanced appearance. Big pockets serve to give the illusion of a smaller derriere. Fashion experts also insist that contrary to popular belief, low waist jeans are not only for people with perfect midsections. These jeans are generally flattering to all shapes of women.

Whether you're thinking of buying low waist jeans, seven jeans, women's jeans, tight jeans, or stretch jeans, buy jeans that make you feel comfortable and confident. After all it is the attitude and confidence that really makes or break a person's look. As a last reminder, a perfect pair of jeans can do wonders for your confidence.

How to produce music like a professional by George maseri

How to produce music like a professional by George maseri

Hello, i have found a music production tool that was soo helpful in helping me compose my oun music that i just had to let someone know.

I am an upcomming hiphop/ rap artist with lots of experince in writting lyrics and talent in the ability to "free style". But free stylin' in bars and for friends was not helping me generate the publicity aboung the community, that i needed to hopefull attract the attention of a small time producer somewhere in my area, and hope fully move up to the big leauges.

I soon found out that if i was to have any chance of moving up the rap/hiphop ladder i had to put together somesort of album or mixtape. Thats when another problem arised for me. I had no way to produce a mixtape and/ album and getting studio time for me was not an option, for i could not afforde the outrageous rates!

So i turned to my long time friend and advisor, the Internet. I started searching the net trying to find somesort of ebook, or how to book, trying to find me some help in order to get my dream going.

I soon found that the free books,(how to guides), although appealed to me, because of my lack of funds, did little to help me. They either had confusing infomation that did more bad than good, or there just was not enough information that i was able to get out of it to even begin peicing together a single song. thats when i found an ebook on sale for $80. I had to get it. so i saved up and got it and was happily surprised about the quality and the help it provided me in making my dream. Then a day or two later i stumbled accross another book called Music Producer Pro . It was on sale and form what i saw on the website it looked like an even better program for half the price!

So i tried it and it was amazing! I could not belive how helpfull and indepth it was. The program showed be how to put my lyrics to the music and to time it correctly. Actually compose a song, far from jotting down ryhmes in my note book. It showed me how to produce abosoltuly rock hard beats that pounded the pictures off of my wall when i turned up the volume! Plus loads more of information that i had not seen from any other e-book. but most of all it taught me How to Produce Quality Music!.

I am now working in an acutall sudio with a producer that picked up my mixtape, that i made thanks to Music Producer Pro!

OutKast is one of HipHop's succesful group's of all time by John Kim

OutKast is one of HipHop's succesful group's of all time by John Kim

OutKast is an American hip-hop duo, comprised of Andre "Andre 3000" Benjamin (formerly known as "Dre") and Antwan "Big Boi" Patton. Having sold over 20 million records with six albums under their belt, OutKast is easily one of the most successful hip-hop groups of all time. Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, a double album representing a solo album from each member of the duo, achieved diamond status, selling over 10 million units, a feat only two other hip hop albums have ever accomplished. OutKast's commercial success corresponds to the duo's critically acclaimed, distinct and experimental sound, which is rare for such a mainstream rap group.

Benjamin and Patton, both from Atlanta, Georgia, went to the same high school together and would regularly engage in rap battles, only to later team up and form OutKast. In 1992, the newly formed duo signed to LaFace Records and became the label's first hip hop act. In 1994, their full length debut, Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik, which included hits such as Git up, Git Out and Player's Ball, which would reach #1 on the Billboard Rap Chart. OutKast's second album, ATLiens, released in 1996, reached #2 on the US album charts and includes hits, ATLiens and Elevators (Me and You), which would become the group's first Top 20 hit.

Outkast's third album, Aquemini, also reached the #2 position on the charts at the time of its release in 1998. The album earned the very rare "5 Mic" rating from The Source magazine, which is equivalent to a 5 out of 5 rating. A year later, the duo ran into legal troubles with Rosa Parks over the title of one of the album's singles, which bore Parks' name. After five years of legal contention, the suit was eventually settled with neither OutKast or LaFace Records having to admit any wrongdoing. In 2000, the duo's fourth album, Stankonia, also debuted at #2 on the album charts and would ultimately go quadruple-platinum, thanks in large to such hit singles including: B.O.B. (Bombs Over Baghdad), So Fresh, So Clean, and Ms. Jackson. Ms. Jackson would become the pair's first pop crossover hit, achieving the #1 ranking on the US pop singles chart. In 2001, OutKast would receive two Grammy Awards, one for Best Rap Album for Stankonia and the other for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for Ms. Jackson. That same year, the duo would release a greatest hits album, Big Boi and Dre Present...OutKast, which included three new tracks. The following year, OutKast would receive Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group for The Whole World, one of the new tracks off the record.

In 2003, OutKast released a double album, Speakerboxxx/The Love Below. The album, which was basically two solo albums by each member, would ultimately become the duo's best selling album debuting on the Billboard 200 Albums Chart at #1 and achieving diamond status. Hits such as The Way You Move, Hey Ya, and "Roses" would keep the album at the top of the charts for several weeks. The album would go on to win the Grammy Award for the 2004 "Album of the Year". OutKast's next album will be the soundtrack to their film Idlewild, which is scheduled to be released on August 22, 2006.

Styles Of Christian Music - Hiphop,Metal,Punk, rock and RAP by Pandithurai K

"There are some people God has called to evangelism, and they're doing a wonderful job, having results. That's great. ... God wanted us to do something else. So we got into the area of challenging people, and our ministry basically happens offstage one-on-one when we talk with people. It's very subtle, but God's doing a work! It's entertainment, it's fun, its a concert--it's all those things--but at a subtle, deeper level, it touches people's hearts" (TERRY TAYLOR OF THE DANIEL AMOS BAND, cited by Dan and Steve Peters, What about Christian Rock, p. 109).

"I love to hear the music playing slow or fast ... Don't stop, don't stop the music, play it in your own way. . . . I hear dissenting voices quick to disagree. But I'm on a music mission; they don't bother me. I'll sing those songs that set me free. Cause kids want to rock" (ED DEGARMO AND DANA KEY, "Don't Stop the Music ," Streetlight, Benson Publications, 1986, p. 24). "You now have songs about pain and death and divorce and sex and relationships and everything that every one of us goes through, whereas at one time contemporary Christian music only talked about the death and resurrection of Christ. We're much more in touch with ourselves and our neighbors, which is the whole idea behind Christ in the first place" (MELISSA HELM OF MYRRH RECORDS, Music Line magazine, June 1986, p. 4).

In Greebville Seminary Conference on Worship Taylors of South Carolina said "last thirty years or so have seen the most dramatic and speedy changes in Protestant worship in any time since the Reformation. Surely the principal mark and symbol of that change is the change in the music of the church. The development of what has come to be called Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) has become an amazingly widespread phenomenon". Due to the rise of Pentecostalism there is some dramatic change in development of CCM. Contemporary Christian Music is pop/rock version of Christian Music with lyrics based on Christian Faith. Contemporary Christian Music became more popular in 1980's with Music of Christian Music Artist Michael W. Smith and Amy Grant. Millions of copies of there album were sold worldwide. Download Christian Music Video, Video Tapes, Christian TV Shows, Christian MTV Shows and Christian Music Videos By 1990's there were many new Christian Music styles such as Hip hop, metal, punk and alternative styles of Christian Music.

Christian Music Artists like Lost Dogs, Joy Electric and Star flyer 59 were against the new styles of Contemporary Christian Music and they continued to create and compile Original Christian Music. Due to tunes and melodies of Christian Music melodies, it is considered as Traditional art. Russian Christian Music is one of those few music which doesn't use any instruments in it, It is sang by choir without background music and Catholic masses in catholic church still perform Bach organ music which were created long time ago.

The Dish: Owens Saga Rages On by Christopher Harris

The Dish: Owens Saga Rages On by Christopher Harris

Imagine you missed a news day. Last Wednesday, you were skiing in the Rockies, or surfing in Maui. You didn't check email, you didn't turn on the TV, you read a book, you went on a hike, you went to sleep without feeling the long, frigid fingers of popular culture down your gullet. Then you woke up Thursday morning, and saw this headline:

"Terrell Owens Denies He Tried To Kill Himself"

Ruh? Raggy?

The saga of T.O. has taken us to the summit of homophobia and the nadir of hiphop, to the lush green expanse of a Pennsylvania front lawn perfect for an impromptu session of sit-ups amid a bevy of reporters, to a stationary bike in the hot Texas sun with a Lance Armstrong jersey stretched over inhumanly big wide-receiver muscles. But I'll bet not even the Coen Brothers could've seen this one coming.

Whether or not Owens really did try to off himself, whether it was a cry for help, whether he's depressed or disturbed or just really careless about mixing pharmaceuticals doesn't really matter to me, nor can I listen to any more talk-radio buffoons waxing rhapsodic on the topic. I don't want to hear concerned sportswriters like Sports Illustrated's Michael Silver offer Owens heartwarming words of advice, and I don't particularly care to watch the press conferences, see the police reports, listen to the EMT interviews, or wonder whether Owens himself looks sad or downtrodden. We're all about seven layers removed from the "truth" of this matter, and there we shall always stay. Some say where there's smoke, there's fire. Others say that even if it was an accident, there's nothing T.O. could say to make us believe it. Whatever.

For me, the larger point of the episode is that, for an NFL team, Terrell Owens just isn't worth it. He's a sideshow (albeit potentially a depressed one). He's immature, he's uneducated, and he's a walking circus. There is no on-field production that can make up for the emotional and mental drain he creates 24/7. Guys like Chad Johnson, Randy Moss, Keyshawn Johnson...they run their yappers, they say things they shouldn't, but they don't suck away your soul. Owens does. He's the evil spawn who drives his parents to drink. He's the problem hairdo that won't sit down. He is a walking, talking carnival who cannot, whether it's intentional or not, stay out of the maelstrom.

You might be able to win baseball games that way; Reggie Jackson is an example that comes to mind. But football requires subversion of the self. And that is something Terrell Owens can and will never do.

At 3-0, do you think the New Orleans Saints are for real? Why or why not?

BoDog Bookmakers, BoDog.ws: There is no denying after watching the Monday night game that New Orleans is for real at home. They're going to be tough to beat with the energy and atmosphere that the Superdome has with all that has happened in Louisiana over the past year. Brees looks like a great replacement for Brooks, and the 1-2 combo of McAllister and Bush can cause a lot of trouble for opposing defenses.

Who will be the last team to lose a game in the NFL this season, and why?

BDB, BoDog.ws: At this point, seven teams remain unbeaten and a lot of them are looking really comfortable. Cincy, Seattle, Chicago, Indy; no real surprises there. San Diego, Baltimore and New Orleans; we may not have expected them. Some interesting things to consider here in week 4 match-ups: San Diego visits Baltimore and Seattle visits Chicago, pitting two undefeated teams against each other on Sunday. Indy looks like the favorite to go undefeated the longest, playing the Jets this week, Tennessee in Week 5 and taking a bye in Week 6.

What did Notre Dame furious comeback at Michigan State mean for the bettors? And what did it mean for you? Do you think the Irish still have a shot at the National Championship? Why or why not?

BDB, BoDog.ws: The incredible comeback by Notre Dame on Saturday was huge for bettors who took Notre Dame at -3. At halftime, these bettors had likely written off any chance of winning, yet ended up with a push. Those who got in at -3.5 just missed the cover. For any bettor with a teaser on Notre Dame, this was also a great result. For us, the comeback did some damage in terms of teasers that fell back into play. Since it was the game of the day, a lot of money was tied up in the game. Fortunately, we didn't book the entire game at -3; a good deal of action came in at -3.5, thus we were able to walk away on a good note rather than being caught for the entire decision at -3. Regardless of the comeback, the Irish just don't look like a National Championship team early on. On the AP top 25, they are currently ranked 12th, with USA Today going as low as 14th. They have already lost once this year; they are going to need to be flawless the rest of the season to get back into National Championship contention. A convincing win at home vs. Purdue this Saturday is an absolute must for the Fighting Irish.

As the baseball playoffs are rounding into shape, who do you see winning the NL wild card and why? And will the Astros catch the Cardinals in the NL Central?

BDB, BoDog.ws: The NL wild card is Los Angeles's for the taking. Their remaining two series are against Colorado and San Francisco, which they should be able to wrap up easily. That being said, if they slip at all, a hot Philly side (7-3 in their last 10) will be knocking at the door only one game back, and facing Washington and Florida to round out the season. Playing Pittsburgh and Atlanta, Houston definitely has the advantage over St. Louis in match-ups. The Cards still have to face San Diego, who will not bank on a two-game lead being enough to seal up the division over the Dodgers. St. Louis is no stranger to pressure, however, so look for a 1.5-game lead to be just enough for the Cards to seal up the NL Central.

Learning About Ballet by Kate Doherty

Learning About Ballet by Kate Doherty

Learning about ballet can be rewarding, fun and may even lead you into performing. Ballet is the basis of dance and whether you're a beginner, adult, teacher or professional there's always something more to learn.

There is much much more to ballet than little girls pirouetting on a stage in a dance school recital, or going to see a production of Swan Lake. Learning basic ballet steps gives you an excellent grounding for many forms of dance - modern, hiphop and ballroom and even ice dancing are just examples.

When you think of a famous ballet dancer, names such as Rudolph Nureyev, Margot Fonteyn and Anna Pavlova immediately spring to mind. What about some of the other less obvious names, dancers who you don't automatically associate with ballet;

Gene Kelly: The 18 minute ballet sequence with Leslie Caron in "An American In Paris" most likely led to him receiving an honorary Academy Award for "....his brilliant achievements in the art of choreography on film"

Patrick Swayze: Formally trained in ballet, appeared in Broadway and West End shows (Grease, Guys And Dolls, Chicago).

Catherine Zeta Jones: Learned tap and ballet in a church hall! Played the role of Velma Kelly in the award winning film Chicago.

Some of the old movies are an excellent source of inspiration for learning about ballet, among them of course The Red Shoes, Swan Lake and Sleeping Beauty (Kirov Ballet). Other films with excellent ballet sequences include An American In Paris, Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, Singin' In The Rain and West Side Story.

Learning ballet takes time, hard work and plenty of practice and although it is considered better to start as a child, adult dancers can still benefit from basic ballet training. Finding a ballet class is the easy part, and it is essential that dancers take proper lessons from a good teacher. However many dancers - and teachers - looking to learn more about ballet can supplement their training by studying ballet videos or DVDs, books and online resources.

Learning ballet terms, the positions, posture, and even how to warm up properly are all necessary if you want to learn to be a ballet dancer. And remember the golden rule - practice, practice, pratice!

Focusing on niche marketing brings you more by Michael Deng

Focusing on niche marketing brings you more by Michael Deng

Internet is becoming more and more important in personal life. As Internet is providing the more convenient way for people to grab informations, to contact with each other and to shopping, nowadays the White and Yellow pages, the encyclopedia, the dictionary and even maps have all become antiquated. But how can you affiliate marketer to make big money in the information explosions? It will make you much easier to achieve your goals if you focus on niche marketing.

What is the meaning of niche marketing? By saying niche marketing I'm talking about marketing to a specialized group instead of the common public. Yes, we actually want everyone to buy the goods from our websites. However, to build up a website with all kinds of products to meet everyone's needs does not seems to be possible. Our website is not a super market. That's why we would like to do niche marketing. We pick a product, or products from the same subject, and do your best to market the products to the ones who need them. Like me, I picked up the "affiliate program" subject, and will focus on marketing to the webmasters and the ones who want to get them a job at home.

You'd better ask yourself a few questions before you start out to choose your niche products.

1. Who are the targetted market segment of my product? You have to make this clear enough, who needs your product badly, who would have a chance to try your product, and who will never pay attention even he comes across your website 100 times a day. If your target market is mainly built from grown adults, then you should write contents in the major way and never think about adding hiphop words into the articles.

2. What is the advantages of my product? Keep in mind, your customers buy your product because they need it and will benefit from it. It is not likely that anyone would buy the product only because you've written a good introduction. You will have to highlight all the features which your customers will benefit from. Do make sure you know them and make sure you tell your customers all about them. You should let the visitors to your website know, they would buy the product as it really does good to them, but not because you want to encourage them to buy.

3. Do you have good knowledge on this product, so that you are able to write new, interesting contents about it every few weeks? Hiphop/Rap And Diamond Earrings: A Bling Affair by Dave Poon

Hiphop/Rap And Diamond Earrings: A Bling Affair by Dave Poon

Now, more than ever, hiphop/rap and diamonds are making perfect music together. More and more hiphop and rap artists are making their own fashion statements and making their presence felt everywhere they go with new, larger and highly expensive "bling blings" - those shiny, precious gem-encrusted accessories that will surely get anybody's attention. Undeniably, "bling blings" are in and are indispensable part of a hiphop/rap artist's total appearance. Among the favorite accessories are diamond earrings that can cost up to millions of dollars.

Three of the hiphop community's superstars known to love and wear diamond earrings are controversial producer/artist/fashion designer Sean "P. Diddy" Combs, rapper/producer Paul Wall and Wall's childhood friend, rapper Chamillionaire. Combs, dubbed as the "Bad Boy for Life" and known for his penchant for luxury and glamour, wears a diamond stud earring all the time. He also bought two pairs of diamond earrings for his twin baby girls just a few weeks after they were born. P. Diddy also gave ex-girlfriend actress/singer Jennifer Lopez several pieces of jewelry including diamond earrings from top jewelry store Tiffany. The flamboyant millionaire, who runs the Sean John Combs clothing line, is also regarded a fashion trendsetter. Fans usually imitate their idol's style and we need not be surprised if they also purchase diamond earrings to complete the "P. Diddy" look. Paul Wall, on the other hand, known for his "grills" (those diamond encrusted teeth jackets) is usually seen wearing a huge diamond earring on his left ear. In fact, in his official website's main page, you can't help but notice his diamond earring as it reflects so much brilliant light! Meanwhile, 2006 Bet HipHop Awards' Rookie of the Year and Grammy Award recipient Chamillionaire, best known for his hit single "Ridin'", sports a pair of diamond earrings on both ears. Scan pictures of this celebrity online and you can be sure he has those costly pieces attached to his ears. Of course, female hiphop superstars like Mary J. Blige and Lil' Kim often wear different types of diamond earrings, from drop diamonds to diamond chandeliers to flashy hoops.

The fondness for diamond earrings do not rest with the big named celebrities, though. Up-and-coming artist Brooke Hogan, daughter of popular wrestler Hulk Hogan and part of the VH1 reality show "Hogan Knows Best", is often photographed wearing diamond earrings. Even street musicians or "ghetto" superstar wannabes also wear their own "bling bling" diamond earrings, albeit of lesser cost and possibly weaker clarity and cut. Nonetheless, one can deduce that diamond earrings and other "bling blings" have become quite an indispensable fashion accessory for hiphop and rap musicians worldwide. Indeed diamonds are here to stay and will always remain as part of any celebrity's jewelry collection.

Live by the Hoodies, Die by the Hoodies by Groshan Fabiola

Live by the Hoodies, Die by the Hoodies by Groshan Fabiola

BAPE, short for A Bathing Ape, is an underground clothing company, which is based in Tokyo, Japan and was founded fourteen years ago, in 1993. Its popularity was tremendous in the Japanese urban wear scene, so much so that fans used to line up for hours on end to be able to purchase a hyped and rare item. Bape is famous for their over the top patterns and colors, which can be found on shoes, hoodies, or even cars! The name Bathing Ape was originated from a common Japanese saying, "to bathe in lukewarm water", which signifies the relaxed and care-free attitude that young people have towards life. This is one of the reasons why Bape hoodies or shoes, or both of them, have become so popular especially among young people.

Bape hoodies or shoes have become popular in the United States only recently, as popular entertainers have started to wear the brand. This brand is now so well-known that they were even asked to design a Pepsi bottle for one of their limited editions. This Japanese apparel and footwear brand has become so popular due to an inspired strategy, that of producing limited quantities of their merchandise. It seems that the more scarce Bape hoodies or shoes are, the higher the demand for them is. Another reason for the growing popularity in the United States is the fact that hip-hop music stars are constantly seen wearing this brand.

Those interested in buying Bape hoodies or shoes directly from the manufacturer may find it hard to do so, and quite expensive actually. You shouldn't fall for any so-called deals on eBay, because you are most likely to purchase an already worn item, and maybe a replica, too. There are many web sites where you can find Bape hoodies or shoes at affordable prices.

The same goes for BBC hoodies or t-shirts, in that they come in a variety colors and prints, as well as sizes, not to mention that they are also affordable if you purchase them via the Internet.

BBC hoodies or t-shirts are representative of hiphop fans. Those unfamiliar with the history of this clothing line should know that this brand was established by Pharrell Williams, in collaboration with Nigo, the creator of the Bape brand. BBC hoodies or t-shirts are not available just about anywhere, as there are only a few retailers around the world that sell these clothing items produced in Japan.

BBC and Bape are also based in line with Ice Cream footwear, which is a brand designed by the same Pharrell Williams and produced by Reebok. The latter were supposed to release the clothing line as well, but this was postponed and all projects were eventually cancelled. BBC hoodies and t-shirts appeared as part of a clothing line that was a sister company to Bape.

The logos, patterns or graphics on BBC hoodies or t-shirts are each representative of a certain season. For instance, the autumn/winter 2005/2006 season is famous for Diamond Dollar hoodies and dog t-shirts. The spring/summer 2006 seasons stands out with its more playful graphics, whereas for the autumn/winter 2006/2007 season the Diamond Dollar dot pattern is back.

Inside The Bay Area Hyphy Movement by Staff

Inside The Bay Area Hyphy Movement by Staff

Ask people in the Bay Area what the Hyphy Movement is all about and you will get many different meanings and perspectives. To some, it refers to a particular style of rap music developed in Northern California. To others, it is a lifestyle of going all out, living life to the fullest and partying hard. But a true definition of this movement is hard to come by. So who can truly explain what it's all about?

In search of such a person, we heard about one emerging Hyphy artist getting ready to release a new album with guest appearances from Too Short, San Quinn, J Diggs, among others. This artist certainly tells it like it is, so we gave him a chance to explain the Hyphy movement.

Driving around the Bay Area in a custom made limousine with the words "Hyphy Train" painted across the rear window, this emerging artist calls himself Greenie. Whether he means to or not, his deep, raspy voice carries a Hyphy tone that encapulates this Bay Area movement.

Greenie recently took a break from the studio to talk about the Hyphy movement & what rap music is missing:

Bay Area Hyphy Movement (BAHM): From what we understand, Hyphy can be crazy dance moves or just smashing someone in the face. How would you define Hyphy?

Greenie: Hyphy as I understand it literally means hyper and fly, but really its how all da homies from the Bay get down when we listen to our Bay style music.

BAHM: Some might say the Hyphy Movement is just a fad? Can it last?
Greenie: Thats like asking is hiphop or rap a fad, hell no it aint a fad, its a lifestle/music. I think it will evolve and take different forms, but now when we refer to hyphy, we are talking bout Bay style, Bay area rap.

BAHM: What does the Hyphy movement mean to the Bay Area?
Greenie: Well, its just like I said rap/hip-hop started in Queens. It evolved took different forms. Today, the South would refer to there style of rap as crunk, the Bay would refer to its Style as hyphy. But not everyone who is from the Bay raps with a hyphy style. I for one only have three songs on my album that I would classify as "hyphy" the rest are just normal rap. E-40's last album every song was hyphy, kick drum slumping hard, beats per minute slightly sped up, and e-40 spittin somethin vicious, THATS HYPHY at its core, and everybody in the Bay is down with it so its important for the Bay in that it brings us all together.

BAHM: So tell us about the new album. What should fans expect, who are some of the guest appearances?
Greenie: First off I'd like to say that I am a huge fan of rap first before ever being an artist. The game is missing a classic element in that people are rapping whole songs and aren't saying shit. It's look what I got, whereas before you could pickup a dope record and actually learn a lot of street shit. In this album you could pick it up and learn a lot of shit about Northern California and this sick ass place we call the Bay Area. I brought several of my favorite artists from the Bay Area and LA together to make this dope album. Look for Too $hort San Quinn, J diggs, and Roscoe of the Dogg Pound, to name a few, and classic producers like One Drop Scott who has worked with Mac Dre, and Gennessee, who has a ridiculous roster.

BAHM: I heard several tracks from your latest album and they are straight Slumper. What is your favorite track, what is the album called & when is it getting released?
Greenie: My much anticipated album is due out this month however, I keep pushing it back since I just received word that Snoop Dogg is only a phone call away. The album will be named The Legend Of Chester Copperpot. My favorite track on the album would have to be "Who Drop," no one has heard it yet cause I wont let anyone listen to it. IT IS ONE OF THE BEST RAP SONGS EVER MADE!

BAHM: What can we expect in the future of Hyphy music?
Greenie: Hopefully, you will see a unified Bay where we aint at war with each other, right now shit is outta control with the violence in the rich and in the O. If we could get unified, hyphy music could really be a driving force behind rap music in general.

BAHM: What other artists should we be looking for outta Northern Cali?
Greenie: Obviously you got the San Quinn's, E-40's, keek da sneek that make our music dope. Thizz ent has a roster of sick individuals though, Bavgate, and our famous new Indian dude Haji Springer are bout to take over. Look for dem to do some big thangs in the upcoming future months.

BAHM: There have been rough times for you working on your latest album. Did you ever think about quitting the rap thing altogether? What kept you going?
Greenie: It's tough in the rap game since everybody and there mother is tryin to rap. There are times still where I'm like shit I aint making that money off this thing like I thought I would, but than another thing I've really come to realize is that I really enjoy rapping, I love it, that shit is fucken fun when you lay down something dope. Selling records these days is all bout marketing. I feel like I've surrounded myself with the right people, I've got my features up, and this is the best album I've ever done so regardless of the response I'm still happy.

BAHM: Do you like the direction that hip hop music is going, or would you like to see something different?
Greenie: I do not understand how some of this shit makes it to TV and the radio but I'm not gon hate on them for there success. Obviously they were doing something right. Hip hop will never be the same as it was since it's birth in the early eighties late seventies. Early on we were learning from each others as emcees, what sounded hot and street cred, and what not to say. Now that most shit from the street has been taught by previous emcees it's hard for an artist to express new ideas that haven't really been touched by previous rappers. So a lot of what you here is repetitive like look at the diamonds I've got, the cars, the bytches, the dope, my street life. As long as we keep rappin bout the same shit we're kinda stuck, so what I've tried to do is create shit that hasn't really been touched and try to be original as much as possible. I've also got OG'S from the rap game on the album so I can bring that original flavor of hip hop to the present. Too Short, and the Reyes brothers from Cypress Hill, are some of the artists you'll find on my record and they are some of my favorite artists of all time as well.

Disabled Dating Tips To Find Love by Andrea Marie

Disabled Dating Tips To Find Love by Andrea Marie

Disabled Online dating is the fastest and easiest way to get to know people before any date. For those in a hurry for romance, find your bride or groom easily with a disabled dating site.

Here are a few simple steps to meet disabled friends in the UK. It's important to be creative with choosing a user name, you want to be able to stand out from the other members. Add a honest and truthful profile. Send lots of messages to increase your chances. Try and make your messages interesting and unique, mention something about there profile. Always be positive and polite.

I simply cannot stress this enough: upload a photo! By far the most important thing about a profile is its photo. Although it is important to make it a good one, if the only one you can find is old and grainy then it is better than nothing. Profiles without photos receive about 10% as many responses as those that do have them.

Make it a good one! If you can, get a friend to take it. Take loads with a digital camera and pick the best two or three. Think about what your best features are and concentrate on those. Perhaps you could get your hair done or dress as if you're going out on a date - this will help to set the mood.

Take some time out to have a look at other people's profiles, and decide which ones you like. What is it you like about them? Note down there positive points.

Turn off your computer, grab a notepad and start writing. People often find it easier to write than type, so why not write your answers out and type them up later? You may find you write a better description without the pressure of a computer screen in front of you.

Be honest! This is very important - you will only attract the people you truly want to be attractive to if you are honest with them and yourself. If your profile describes somebody you are not, your prospective dates will be interested in that person, not you. Think about how your friends would describe you in three words. Better still, ask them! Think about your best qualities and sell them. Don't just tell people about your qualities, show them. Don't just say "I love music" - what kind of music do you like? Instead say "I love British hiphop - I went to see Roots Manuva last week", or "There is nothing better than listening to Rachmaninov on a rainy day".

One of the biggest turn-offs, according to some of our users, is bad grammar and incorrect spelling. Double and triple-check what you write, or the next person reading it will be a single person who liked the look of you.

Create a good impression when you first meet your date. The most important Dating tip of all is to Date safe. Don't take risks with your safety. Just because you have been chatting for months don't invite them into your home for wine and music. Not rushing in on intimacy gives you both more to look forward too.

Most of all be yourself and beleive there is someone wonderful for you out there.

Rap Music: History and Genres by Chris Robertson

Rap Music: History and Genres by Chris Robertson

Those who are young or relatively new to the HipHop culture don't realize that Rap Music has many different genres:

East Coast: The East Coast, most notably New York City, was the genesis for rap music hitting the mainstream. Run-D.M.C. led the pack, with Rakim and Big Daddy Kane also breaking through to make rap emerge as a national phenomenon.

West Coast: While HipHop was cooking in the East, West Coast rap music gained national recognition in the mid-1980s with performers like Ice T and Too $hort.

Dirty South: While most of the music world's attention focused on rap coming from New York and Los Angeles, HipHop artists in the South were turning to independent music labels to release their work. Geographically, the Dirty South genre encompassed places as diverse as Houston, Birmingham, and Miami, and was greatly influenced by Ghetto Mafia in the mid-1990s. Musically, Dirty South rap is known for is danceabilty and rhythmic delivery.

Gangsta Rap: Some say Gangsta Rap first emerged on the West Coast with N.W.A.'s "Straight Outta Compton" release, while others credit Ice T with taking Gangsta Rap to national acclaim. Characterized by lyrics glamorizing elements of a criminal lifestyle, violence, promiscuity, misogyny, and materialism, Gangsta Rap's controversy came to a head with the murder of the West Coast Tupcac Shakur in 1996, and the subsequent murder of the East Coast's The Notorious B.I.G. in 1997.

Pop Rap: Known for its widespread, mainstream appeal, Pop Rap's first breakout star was LL Cool J. The Fresh Prince and MC Hammer quickly rose to the top of the Pop Rap scene and the music charts with lyrics that were less controversial than those of the Gangsta Rap genre, and thus were more likely to receive radio airplay.

Christian Rap: While HipHop was garnering a reputation for less than savory lyrics and artists for questionable activities, other artists were expressing their faith through HipHop. Christian Rap took off in the late 1980s and early 1990s with rap groups like P.I.D. and S.F.C.

Jazz Rap: Although Jazz Rap has never enjoyed mainstream commercial success, the genre often incorporates Afrocentric and political themes. Gang Starr and Gil Scott-Heron are often cited as two of the first Jazz rappers.

Conscious HipHop: Similar to Jazz Rap, Conscious HipHop has never enjoyed mass commercial success. With an emphasis on social issues, Conscious HipHop isn't overtly political, but rather deals with issues such as poverty and religion.

Electro HipHop: A combination of dance music and rap, Electro HipHop first emerged in the 1980s on the West Coast from artists like Arabian Prince and Egyptian Lover. By the mid-1990s, Electro HipHop had pretty much run its course.

How To Write Your Own Rap Song by Jamaal West

Hip Hop is one of the most profitable genres of music around today. Rap music has grown from the street corners of New York City to a world wide phenomenon. You have little kids in Africa and Japan who can quote a Jay-Z or Fifty-Cent song word for word.

Well I can't fault you for wanting to learn How To Write Your Own Rap Song. Lets begin shall we? The first thing you're going to want to do is find a beat that you would like to rap over. This can be a tedious mission. Do you want to construct a club song, emotional song, a song for the ladies or a song for the fellas? The best thing to do is to get 5-10 beats and select whichever one calls out to you.

Now that you have chosen a beat, its now time to decide on a flow or cadence that you are going to utilize for the beat you selected. The cadence you use should harmonize the same way throughout the song.

Now that you've decided on a beat and a cadence for your song. Next thing you are going to do is think of a chorus. Make sure your hooks are strong and catchy. Simple hooks are the easiest to catch on to. You can have a 2, 4, 6 or 8 bar hook. If you don't understand bars there is a great online tutorial that you can use at how2rap.com/bartutorial.html. You must join to get the password but it's free to join.

After you have a hook the next thing to do is to come up with three verses that are 16 bars each. You want to construct your verses around your hook. For example if your hook is about partying at the club, you don't want to rap about getting locked up and going to jail. Unless of course that's what happened while you were partying at the club.

Here is a simple format to use when writing your own rap song.

Hook (Chorus) Verse Hook (Chorus) Verse Hook (Chorus) Verse Hook (Chorus)

That is the standard format that most rap songs use. Now you ought to be well on your way to writing your own rap song. Good Luck!

Family Tree Records Release Sakai's CD Dream Big by Family Tree Records

FOR IMMEDIATE रेलेअसे

Los Angeles, California-October 8, 2007- Family Tree Records has joined forces with The Rob Nonies Label Group and Koch Distribution on the release of Sakai's Dream Big. "I Like," the first single from Dream Big is graced with the guitar-playing wizardry of Dwayne Wiggins of Tony! Tone! Toni!। "I Like," debuted at the #8 position on Billboard's "Hot R&B & Hip Hop Singles Sales" chart.

Dream Big is an 18-track collection of songs, most of which were co-written by Sakai and Family Tree Records' CEO and President, Kevin "Darkside" Smith, which crosses a variety of genres। Traditional R&B, urban-infused hip-hop, salsa, jazz and straight up soul are all represented.

This focus is clearly evident on the standout tracks "Friendship To Love," (co-written by Sakai, Darkside and the esteemed Narada Michael Walden), a ballad which charts the progression of a relationship from the friendship stage to a full-blown love affair and the inspiring and life-affirming "Leap of Faith," which is about following your heart, spreading your wings, and calling upon the strength of one's spirit to overcome any obstacle; and "A Place Between" a sensual ballad overlaid with the patina of a Spanish guitar which explores the metaphorical "space" between lust and love, the sadness and the warmth of a smile, the space between "your heart and mine।" Finally, this emotionally engaging set closes with the anthemic "Dream Big," which encourages listeners to reach for the stars and give yourself over to your greatest hopes and biggest dreams, and despite what it might look like, Sakai promises us that it's "Gonna Be Fine" because faith will see you through and it's time to take control of your destiny.

Sakai's vocal skills and range have been duly noted by such industry luminaries as Celine Dion on whose hit single "A New Day" Sakai's is the first voice you hear। She has also worked with a stellar crew of industry notables such as Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones, Curtis Mayfield, Chaka Khan, Oleta Adams, Steve Winwood and Michael Bolton, among others.

With Dream Big Sakai encourages us all to approach life and love with strength, faith and courage all the while staying true to oneself।

If you are deep into music especially rap music, you would have heard legendary stories about Ti the Rapper। The name is synonymous with hip music and has maddening following across Americas especially down south.

There are no authentic sources of information to understand why the initials Ti or T।I. have been assigned to the legendary singer. There may be as many stories and myths as the number of songs given voice by the singer.

The real biographical name of Ti the rapper is Clifford Joseph Harris junior। The walking legend is just 27 years old and is very popular for his versatility and diverse interests. The singer is known for his song writing skills, acting, recording, production and all the other fields related to music.

His genre of music is hip hop and he is also known as the king of South and Rubberband Man। Some of his best music has been recorded on labels Arista, Grand Hustle and Atlantic Records. The maverick song writer has also acted in a number of plays and has made an impact as an actor too. You can not miss the energy in his performance. You can love him. You can hate him. But you can not simply ignore Ti the Rapper- the king of music.

Known for his electrifying performances and fast delivery of lyrics, Ti the Rapper has progressed from slow and typically southern style to relaxed and moderate delivery and finally to fast and rapid fire flow। Today the singer actor is widely known for his versatility and diverse styles. He can move from flow to flow so as to give an impact to songs he wants to record. Needless to say that the great rapper has everything for everyone. You can not but feel connected to his style of music.

Ti the rapper started with his first album in the year 2001 and was known as 'I am serious'। However the album failed to be a chartbuster in its days. Ti almost vanished for 2 years and resurfaced only during 2003 when he launched Trap Muzic, which sold like hot cakes after its launch.

It was the real hit which Ti was looking for and crated ripples in the music field. Urban legend released by Ti during 2004 was the real world wide success in the rap music and made him a known figure for a very long time to go. He has not looked back since then and backed it with much better success through his release of fourth album appropriately called as King. King was nominated for a number of awards including Grammy award for the best Rap music. The album is still regarded as one of the best performances of the year 2006 and has won laurels for Ti.

Guitar Tablature: Learn To Play The Star-Spangled Banner by Peter Edvinsson

With the help of guitar tab notation it is easy to play melodies on your guitar। In this guitar lesson we will play The Star-Spangled Banner.

Guitar tablature is a way to notate how you put your fingers on the fretboard in order to play a song or something else।

I use my own form of guitar tab notation in articles like this one to be sure that the tabs are readable on article sites। You can find the more common guitar tab staff notation on my site with guitar tablature and free sheet music.

The string with the highest pitch on your guitar is usually an E and is called the first string। This is the string nearest your feet when you play. Here is an example of the guitar tab notation i mentioned:

3/२

The first number indicates the fret। The second number tells you which string to play. The previous example tells you to press down a finger on the third fret of the second string and play the note.

You will play The Star-Spangled Banner in the key of C-major। Here is the first part of the melody in guitar tab notation:

0/3 2/4 3/5 2/4 0/3 1/2 0/1 3/2 1/2 2/4 4/4 0/3 0/3 0/1 3/2 1/2 0/2 2/3 0/2 1/2 1/2 0/3 2/4 3/५

This part is now repeated once।

Which left hand fingers should you use to play the melody?

You can of course use your first finger for all the notes but the best way to use your left hand fingers is to play the notes on the first fret with your first finger, the notes on the second fret with your middle finger and the notes on the third fret with your ring finger।

Here comes the next guitar tabs:

0/1 0/1 1/1 3/1 3/1 1/1 0/1 3/2 0/1 1/1 1/1 1/1 0/1 3/3 1/2 0/2 2/3 0/2 1/2 2/4 4/4 0/३

It might be difficult at first to use your lefthand fingers the way I described but if you use these fingerings it will actually be easier for you to find the right notes on your guitar। You don't even have to look at your fingers to find the right fret if you get used to this way of playing.

It's time for the next part of the melody with guitar tab:

0/3 1/2 1/2 1/2 0/2 2/3 2/3 2/3 3/2 1/1 0/1 3/2 1/2 1/2 0/२

The length of the notes is not indicated with this type of guitar tab notation। I guess you will find out how to play the notes by your self if you sing the melody. On my site I often use guitar tab notation with common guitar sheet notation which indicates the length of the notes.

0/3 1/2 3/2 0/1 1/1 3/1 1/2 3/2 0/1 1/1 3/2 1/२

Now you have tested to play The Star-Spangled Banner with guitar tab notation. I would suggest that you learn the melody by heart by playing one line at a time until you know the whole song!

Free MP3 Download Provider by Marcus Rolland

Free MP3 Download Provider

Almost everything is available in the Internet nowadays, articles, news, books, softwares, applications and the most downloaded MP3 song provider. Downloading free MP3 in the internet requires you to install a file-sharing software. One of the infamous MP3 file sharing software is LimeWire. LimeWire is a peer-to-peer file-sharing client for the Java Platform, which uses the Gnutella network to locate and share files. Released under the GNU General Public License, Limewire is free software. It also encourages the user to pay a fee, which will then give the user access to LimeWire Pro.

Here's a quick reference to its features and system requirements:

Written in the Java programming language, LimeWire is able to run on any computer with Java Virtual Machine installed. Installers are provided for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. Support for Mac OS 9 and other previous version was dropped with the release of LimeWire 4.0.10. It offers the sharing of its library through Digital Audio Access Protocol. As such, when LimeWire is running, any files shared will be detectable on the local network by DAAP-enabled devices (eg. iTunes).

  • Ease of use - just install, run, and search.

  • Ability to search by artist, title, genre, or other meta-information.

  • Elegant multiple search tabbed interface.

  • "Swarm" downloads from multiple hosts help you get files faster.

  • iTunes integration for Mac and Windows users.

  • Unique "ultrapeer" technology reduces bandwidth requirements for most users.

  • Integrated chat.

  • Directly connect to a computer.

  • Browse host feature--even works through firewalls.

  • International versions: Now available in many new languages.

  • Automatic local network searches for lightning-fast download.

System Requirements: Must have the Java2TM Runtime Environment, v.1.3.1 (JRE), 64 MB RAM

LimeWire is must-have software of MP3 enthusiast. It provides unlimited downloads and most specially, it is for free. A free version of LimeWire can be downloaded at www.softpedia.com.

Another way to download free MP3 is the use of µTorrent software. µTorrent is BitTorrent software that allows you to download from torrent files. It is Micro-Sized Yet Feature Filled. Most of the features present in other BitTorrent clients are present in µTorrent, including bandwidth prioritization, scheduling, RSS auto-downloading and Mainline DHT (compatible with BitComet). Additionally, µTorrent supports the Protocol Encryption joint specification (compatible with Azureus 2.4.0.0 and above, BitComet 0.63 and above) and peer exchange. Resource-Friendly, µTorrent was written with efficiency in mind. Unlike many torrent clients, it does not hog valuable system resources - typically using less than 6MB of memory, allowing you to use the computer as if it weren't there at all. Additionally, the program itself is contained within a single executable less than 220 KB in size. µTorrent also has support for localization, and with a language file present, will automatically switch to your system language. If your language isn't available, you can easily add your own, or edit other existing translations to improve them. Actively Developed and Improved, the developer puts in a lot of time working on features and making things user-friendlier.

It can be used to download single mp3 files but it can also be used to download albums or song collection of artists. µTorrent is for free and you can download it at its official website. A detailed guide on how to use µTorrent is also available at their website.

Music Downloads: Best Services by Kelly Liyakasa

Music downloads aren't going anywhere, despite the negative sentiment recording artists have for the phenomena. Anyone with a PC or MP3 player understands the significance of downloading their favorite song, as opposed to purchasing an entire album from FYE.

Though tangible CDs are a must for die-hard fans, there's nothing quite like picking and choosing which tracks make it on your iPod. Several music download services offer great perks for listeners:

* More than Music-The great thing about MP3 players is their versatility. Many multimedia players incorporate video, games, tv shows and podcasts into their service, compatible with a broad selection of files available through companies like iTunes.

* Membership-Not all music download services charge you $.99 per song. Services like MP3DownloadHQ and Napster charge you flat membership rates with unlimited downloads in that allotted timeframe.

* File sharing-iTunes and other music download services allow paying users to swap music files with friends. Keyword: legally.

* Fun Features-Everyone has a cell phone and Napster allows you to transfer music files to your mobile when subscribing to Napster-to-Go without having to pay per track.

There are plenty of choices in music download services, all boasting unique features and payment options. Of course, iTunes is ideal for anyone accustomed to individual file purchasing and a service such as MP3DownloadHQ is better for someone who downloads countless numbers of songs and videos. However, all are dedicated to cutting edge entertainment.
