Meisuccess Takes The Word To Heart. by johnmaikke

Meisuccess Takes The Word To Heart.

Back in the days of yore, circa 1997 A.D., when the internet was still "something inside a computer" to most people, John Maikke was busy immersing himself into the brave new world of internet marketing and specifically internet marketing for network marketers.

Back then, internet marketing mainly focused on posting your ads on message boards and forums or buying banner ads from a now defunct MSN service called, "bcentral".

Fast forward to ten years later and John Maikke has participated in and done everything there is to do when it comes to online marketing. Now running his own company aptly named, "Meisuccess", John has worked with and has endorsements from big time entertainment superstars like Mase (Mase is a former partner of hip hop superstar P.Diddy, where together they run the "Bad Boy" record label and produced multi-platinum hits with the late Notorious B.I.G.).

John has also shown the ropes of internet marketing to hip hop superstar Yung Joc, who recently blazed the charts with his super smash hit single, "It's Goin' Down".

But John Maikke doesn't work with celebrities only. In fact, John and his company, Meisuccess, have been busy helping local businesses get a web presence that has exponentially increased revenues and brand recognition for the companies.

Says John, "What we do mostly at Meisuccess is provide marketing solutions that address our client's needs. Most of our clients need help with internet marketing for network marketers. Each client is different and although they all have the same goal, which is getting their brand recognized online, we tailor specific solutions for each and every one of our clients. We've been very fortunate in achieving almost a 100% success rate for all our clients."

With the ever growing challenges faced by many entrepreneurs in business, John and his staff at Meisuccess work to bring their clients the very best in marketing and lead generating systems to enhance the overall efficiency of their patron's operations and success in internet marketing for network marketers.

John Maikke says that his overall mission is to "Empower, Enlighten and Transform" all who are ready to embrace this life's changing information. John also helps people in the MLM business use the internet to grow their businesses and has had considerable success doing so.

At the rate John and his crew at Meisuccess are hitting the ball out of the proverbial ballpark, Meisuccess is poised to transform any business that they touch into a success. Literally.

Holidays in Ibiza by Dan Williams

Ibiza is a small island just 45kms wide and 25kms long, one of the Spanish Balearic Islands just 2hrs away from the UK on a cheap Thomas Cook flight.

It is an Island of contrast in its appeal as it makes an ideal relaxing destination for those wanting a quiet holiday on one of its 30 or more beaches yet it is also well known for being one of the hottest places in Europe for the club scene.

Ibiza has a rich history and like the other Balearic Islands, Majorca and Minorca, it has been invaded by a number of different settlers over the decades. The Carthaginians, the Greeks, the Romans, the Arabs and the Catalans, have all left their mark on the Island. Napoleon was born on a small island just off the San Antonio coast. Since the Catalan conquest in the thirteenth century Ibiza has remained under Spanish control and largely unaffected by world political events. Most of the architectural influences of the Romans and Arabs are long gone, but you can still find some of the Pirate towers that were built along the coastline to protect the islanders from the frequent raids. Towers would send signals between one another to warn islanders of impending danger allowing them to seek shelter.

As you would imagine with all the different cultures the Island is rich in folklore and in fact the Phoenicians believed the island to be blessed by gods and have magical powers. The small island of Es Vedra, rising from the waters off the Ibiza coast supports no living thing. The Carmelite priest Don Francisco Palau recorded mystical revelations and meetings with 'unearthly beings surrounded by light' while meditating there and gigantic circles of light rise from the sea which have discouraged fishermen from this area. A strong magnetic force is said to emanate from Es Vedra, attracting unexplained phenomena.

'Ibiza will be Earth's final refuge' - predicted Nostradamus the 15th century French astrologer & physician. When nuclear disaster wipes out most life on Earth, the peculiar prevailing wind patterns over Ibiza will ensure that it is the sole remaining life-supporting environment.

Artists and sculptors love to come to Ibiza for the light and climate are ideal for them. There are a number of galleries on the island of artists from all over the world.

Ibiza has some wonderful beaches and hotels and is perfect for a family holiday. Boat excursions, water sports, adventure sports, walking or just plain sunbathing make Ibiza the perfect holiday destination. Accomodation ranges from self catering apartments through to top class hotels and private villas.

If you are into the clubbing scene then you will have already heard of Ibiza's reputation as the clubbing centre of Europe....overground, underground, rock, house, hip hop, techno, electro, r'n'b there is music for all and Ibiza has the infrastructure to support this in a very professional way. There are specific holidays for clubbers with priority tickets to clubs and prearranged transport to get you home in the early hours of the morning. Celebrity DJs from around the world play in the huge clubs guaranteeing top quality entertainment. The whole club scene in Ibiza has taken on a more sophisticated slant in some venues as they move to more theatrical staging. There's a distinction between the club nights being promoted and the venues they used with famous promotions like Cream and Manumission both hosted at the Amnesia club at the moment. Other recognised venues include Pacha which hosts the Subliminal parties and El Divino which hosts the Hed Kandi nights.

It may not be a big island but Ibiza makes up for that in its diversity, friendly welcome and choice of holidays, so book a cheap flight through one of the many tour operators flying to the island and enjoy a summer's break in Ibiza.

REVIEW: Lorraine Reid: How Can I Keep Him Lovin' Me? by Mark Kirby

Over a decade ago, rappers Chuck D and Public Enemy asked, "Who Stole the Soul?" Today, after Christina Aguilera's R&B-infused Back To Basics double CD and the Amy Winehouse soul explosion, the real question is, "Who stole it back?" Part of the answer can be found in Lorraine Reid's single "How Can I Keep Him Lovin' Me?"

It always comes as a surprise when I hear a modern R&B singer who has both the pipes to belt out with intensity and the good taste to let the song tell the story, choosing to not over-saturate a classic melody with vocal gymnastics. Reid dazzles her listeners with the perfect balance of vocals, just like the classic soul, rock and pop singers did back in the day. This timeless track by the Canadian, 7-time Juno nominee would fit right in with the best of soul and funk in any age.

"How Can I Keep Him Lovin' Me?" begins to amaze listeners with its instrumentals -- the keyboard starts with mellow soul chords and is followed by gently plucked guitar and sparse bass that flows with restrained energy even while in ballad mode. The drums play a beat that has previously anchored old pop and soul songs as well as bawdy stripper show tunes; it's a beat that is part-waltz, part-easy-going phat back groove. While this stew is bubbling, Ms. Reid tells the story: "No more than 15 but grown before her time / This young girl was seekin' love from men who would dim the lights / How can I keep him lovin' me? / Here she was still seeking love / it was no where to be found." Aside from the modern beat of the drums and the contemporary soul sound, the track is undeniably old school because it deals with real people and real-life issues, concepts that are often lost in mainstream music today.

The sales of R&B records -- as with those of hip-hop and most other genres -- continue to slump. Illegal downloads aside, the vast majority of these records deal with unattainable fantasies of sex, glamour, white linen suits and matching Bentleys. People who have just been laid off, had their benefits run out, or their home foreclosed don't want to hear about such lavish topics. And they can't even afford to buy overpriced CDs, anyway. That's why real people, especially women, like Mary J. Blige's tales of being a survivor. Like Blige, Reid tells a tale of survival and, like the best soul and gospel singers, past and present, she goes beyond this simple tale: "At 22, a mom of two, but she was still a child / Her mama's advice to her was a message meek and mild / what this baby boy sees in you I tried my whole life to find / so dry your tears, my baby girl, you're lookin' at piece of mind." Throughout the song, Reid's vocals follow the lyrics and melody on a rollercoaster of emotion, saving the soaring peaks of her sweet yet powerful voice for the pinnacles of the song, especially the last lines. By the end of "How Can I Keep Him Lovin' Me?", the sadness becomes both redemption and a spiritual epiphany -- all because of the power of love. Now ain't that what soul music is all about?

What Type Of Street Dance Classes Are There In London? by Kevin Shwe

It seems that street dance is becoming more and more popular in the UK. Lots of dance styles have had their turn in the spotlight over the years and it looks like it is the turn of street dance at the moment.

But what exactly is street dance? And what can you expect to learn in a street dance class in London? The London scene is very different to many other countries and it's worth exploring.

Street dance classes often teach street dance routines which loosely take dance moves from a variety of dance styles which may include hip-hop dance, locking, popping, street jazz and jazz amongst others. It can also include acrobatics when danced in dance troupes and can fuse with other styles very different from street dance such as contemporary too.

In fact looking at the term more closely, 'street dance' is more an umbrella term encompassing all these dance styles and many more. Different people have different opinions on what constitutes street dance. For example some people would also put dance styles such as the breakin' and the crip walk under the street dance categories whilst others would not.

So if you see a dance class advertised as street dance you can expect to learn dance routines which are very similar to hip-hop dance and including elements of the other styles, but not necessarily to hip-hop music. Whereas most of the time a hip-hop dance class will have routines to hip-hop or R&B music for the most part.

There are other clues for what you might expect form a street dance class in London. Sometimes 'street' will be followed by another name. For example 'street jazz' would combine street and jazz, 'street locking' would be lockin' and 'street urban' would be similar to hip hop dance or urban dance.

The term 'street dance' is popularly used in the UK and a number of other countries. So if you decide that you want to start going to some street dance classes it's helpful to know what style of street dance you want to learn.

Dance styles which might fall under the street dance category such as popping, locking and hip-hop dance will often have dance classes which are just called by their names instead of 'street' something.

If in doubt about a street dance class in London, take a class so you can find out whether it's general routines you'll be learning or a specific street dance style. Many times you'll find you'll enjoy a dance style that you weren't even planning to learn!

Are There Any Underground Dance Studios In Your Area? by Kevin Shwe

There are many dance studios that you can go to learn dance. Every one's heard of the best and mainstream ones where all the top dancers, choreographers and pop superstars go. But in many large cities there are a number of underground dance studios quietly doing their business with very high standards of dancers.

So how can you find out about these dance studios that not many people have heard about? Well for the most part you find out about them by getting involved in the dance industry and making friends with other dancers. Many times you'll find out about them by going to the popular dance studios and meeting other dancers there who also go to these underground dance studios.

A lot of these underground dance studios will specialise in only a handful of dance studios which is not surprising since they are not mainstream. Since forever bboys and bgirls have had meetups where they just find an area where they can practise.

There are lots of these underground dance studios that specialise in hip hop or locking and popping. Especially in the inner cities, where people are just doing their own thing.

Usually the more you get involved in a particular community the more you'll find about these places that dancers go to practise. Many times they'll have teachers there who are teaching dance classes. Sometimes you can find out about them just by participating in online forums or hanging out with people who are heavily involved in the scene.

A lot of the time these underground places will be cheaper than the mainstream studios and you can get into some good dance classes for a lot cheaper.

You'll frequently find that these underground dance studios are the places that many dance companies or dance troupes might go for their dance rehearsals and the studios are not as expensive to hire. If you know anyone in a dance crew it's also worth asking where they practise as it may an underground place that a lot of people go to.

Also don't feel that it's the end of the world if you can't find an underground dance studio. There are plenty of dance studios and opportunities where you can learn many dance styles.

Underground dance studios are not necessarily any better, sometimes they are better, sometimes their standard is worse or just less polished. It's usually a different crowd and different scene from the other dance studios, if it's your scene most likely you will find out about it in time.

How to Use Article Marketing by Simon G Ford

Article marketing is today’s name of the game if you need to profit online. Unluckily, not everybody understands how to use this new tool effectively and properly. When we say effectively and properly, that means writing articles that attract readers to know more about – or even patronize – your products or services rather than switching them off completely. Whether you’ve yet to try or already tried article marketing to raise your list and achieve so-so to deplorable results, the ideas below will surely boost your website’s profits: DON’T UNDERSTIMATE YOUR READERS. Your readers are not fool. Underestimating them will be the end of your market. Readers are competent to easily catch on when they’re being played the fool. Giving them single worthless article to read and waste their time with may be overlooked and forgiven, but doing so too always would earn your business the wrath of your customers. NEVER DUPLICATE CONTENT Think of it as the standard in article marketing. Violate this rule, and you’ll get incensing readers and search engine spiders alike. There are millions of words at your disposal, so you get no excuse to be lazy and use the same article over and over just to improve search engine rankings and generate more traffic to your website. It’s okay to use the same content, but please do try to reword them in totally different manner, and publish them at proper intervals. TITLES MATTER! A title is primarily what provides the first impression for several readers. Thus, if you need them to continue reading, your title must offer them reason to do so. On making titles, make sure that they use the main keyword or contain the main theme of the article; secondly, they must be short but catchy: don’t go beyond 12 words unless it’s absolutely necessary. USE THE INTRODUCTION TO SPICE THINGS UP! A brief introduction to the article could still be boring and summed up as “yada, yada, yada”. The introduction to your article must broaden the impression that your catchy title has built; it must further engage the interest of the reader and provide him more things to look forward to in reading your article. THE SEQUENCE OF PARAGRAPHS MUST BE ORGANIZED AND SMOOTH-FLOWING. An article is not a short-story; it will not help from having flashback scenes, or a writing style that jumps rather than glides from one topic to the other. If you have to liken a marketing article to a dance, it’s same with waltz or ballet, and never breakdancing or hip-hop. IF IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE MENTIONED, THEN DON’T. Never contain useless information. As long as it’s not directly or significantly important to the topic at hand, don’t mind including it. At the very least, just have passing mention of it. Readers, specifically Internet readers, are into articles that are short and easy to comprehend so as not to waste time and effort. BENEFITS, BENEFITS, AND MORE BENEFITS! Readers don’t need to know about who’s behind the company, how many awards your company has received, or something else. Readers are always primarily interested in what they can acquire from your article, and consequently, your item. Thus, on writing any article, make sure that you strongly sress these two types of benefits: the valuable information they’ll earn from reading your article and the advantages they’ll enjoy once they buy your product or service. ENDING WITH A BANG After the main content, people often end the article with a brief description of their product, and a call to action. That call must neither be a shout nor a whisper; rather, it must be said in a normal but persuading manner. When reading between the lines, your call to action’s simply saying “if you don’t purchase our products, it’s your loss, not ours”. At times, simpler things lead to bigger and better effects. PROVIDE SHORT BUT DETAILED CONTACT INFORMATION. Include your company name, primary website address, and email addresses which they could send inquiries or requests for reports and ezine or newsletter subscription. HOW AND WHERE TO USE ARTICLE MARKETING Besides using it to provide content for your website, articles could also be utilized in blogs, newsletters, auto-responders, e-zines, and ebooks. Article marketing is a way that can never fail, as long as you provide your readers the information they wish…and deserve.

What Are The Jewelry Options For Men? by Victor Epand

For many decades, most jewelry beyond a pocket watch or wedding ring were reserved for women. You would never see a man other than a pirate, wearing an earring or having any portion of his body pierced with an ornament. These days, men wear a wide range of jewelry, and many are influenced by hip-hop culture to get jewel-encrusted rings, necklaces and teeth covers.

What are the best jewelry gifts for men and how much jewelry is considered ideal?

Bracelets

Most men do not wear bracelets. That type of jewelry has not quite caught the fancy of men. With the exception of medical alert bracelets, there will not be many men out there sporting a bracelet on either their wrist or their ankle. Sometimes, a man can get away with a bracelet if it has the name of his wife or children on it.

Earrings

It has become acceptable in our society for a man to wear earrings, sometimes on both ears. Often, men will go beyond the ear and pierce their nose, lip, eyebrow, nipple and a host of other places. Earrings have become so common on men that few people even look twice at it. Make sure your husband or boyfriend will wear an earring before you buy one for them.

Watches

For men, an expensive watch is a form of jewelry. Do not be afraid to buy him a gold or silver watch. It is one of the few forms of male jewelry that has changed little over time. If you want to go classic, get a pocket watch with a decorative chain that he can hang from his jacket.

Necklace

A necklace was never seen on a man in the past, but, following World War II, necklaces became more and more fashionable. A small gold necklace with an important symbol hanging from it can be an excellent gift. But, don't go all out and buy him a jewel-encrusted necklace with some strange word hanging from it like J-Rock.

Cuff Links

This is an old staple for the male jewelry catalogue. Any classy and well-dressed male will have expensive cuff links to put on their expensive coats. Don't go for a too flashy one, but a small silver or gold cuff link can be a wonderful gift to class up any outfit.

There are other items you can buy for your husband or boyfriend if they want jewelry, including designer sunglasses, rings and other things. The things described above are some good examples of what to have and what to avoid.

How to Build a Successful Singing Career by Michael Oliphant

Are you a young hopeful singer looking to make your mark in the music business?

Whether you are a solo singer/songwriter , rehearsing your first band, singing karaoke, or just wondering about how to get it all going here is some advice that you might find useful.

Let's start with the central issue. How good you sound is much more important than how good you look. This will sound like crazy talk to some but it's essentially true. Singing is an aural art form and your success as an artist will rest mostly on how well you communicate with your listener. The best visual presentation in the business will not help you if you sound like crap. Or put another way, a blind person will not think you are a great singer no matter how well you are dressed!

Many wonderful singers started out with only the very basics of a good singing voice, perhaps just the raw ability to sing confidently and more or less in tune. Along the way they learned to bring out the best in their voice and to create a kind of vocal charisma, a unique musical identity that is instantly recognizable to the listener.

Firstly, don't think of yourself as a singer. Think of yourself as a MUSICIAN. The human voice is merely an instrument like many others and it takes dedication and skill to use it effectively. If you want the kind of voice that will stop traffic, the kind of vocal range that lets you sing in almost any key, the sort of voice that most people would die for then you have to build it yourself. Lots of raw talent is not enough in most cases and it can sometimes be a disadvantage.

Why? Because it can make you a complacent low achiever and lead you to believe that the world revolves around you and the greatness you are destined to enjoy if only the world would listen. A great natural singing voice is one thing but it's what you DO with it that counts.

As a singer you must develop your musical judgment. You will need to make good musical decisions every time you open your mouth to sing. Deciding how to sing a phrase, whether to build up a particular section or to lay back your timing into the bridge or if you should sing out the end chorus an octave higher with lots of licks all takes musical taste and judgment that nobody is born with. If you think of yourself as a musician first then you will be able to recognize these judgment skills in other musicians and be able to learn from them.

Singers should always be looking to push themselves. Expand your horizons by learning other instruments like guitar and keyboards or bass, drums or saxophone. The mere act of learning to play a bit on another instrument will teach you much about singing. It will also help immensely with your songwriting, but that is another rave.

Expand your horizons in other musical directions. If you sing hip hop then try singing a bit of country or jazz. Force yourself out of your comfort zone into areas you know nothing about. Throw yourself into the deep end of the pool until you feel the water flow over your head! Most musical styles borrow on the same vocal techniques but differ in how they are applied. For example, listening to how Michael Buble sings can give you an insight into phrasing and how to create tension and release in a vocal performance. Your understanding of this can be applied to almost any contemporary musical style you wish.

Don't fall for the old lazy argument that you are an original artist and you don't want to dilute your 'sound' with outside influences. The truth is that influences are what make you the singer you are and the great singer you will become. You must absorb all the information you can, pick as many brains as you can find, listen to the old players and try to figure out how they did what they did. If you have a favorite singer then learn everything you can from that person and then move on. Do not try to sound like them even if you can. You must learn to move beyond mere copying and into forming your own sound.

Above all, make this journey your passion. Leave no stone unturned in your quest to be a better musician and a great singer.

So, should you rush out and get singing lessons I hear you ask...

Initially no. What you should be doing is hanging out with other musicians, preferably better ones than you. Don't spend all your time with friends who are hacks with no intentions of doing anything meaningful with their music after the school holidays. This can be difficult if you have strong relationships with people you enjoy making music with but it is a necessary step in your musical education and growth. You must find great players to learn from. Most accomplished musicians actually enjoy mentoring young hopefuls with ability and drive. Finding some good players to learn from is the single most important thing you will ever do for your musical career.

Then, when you are ready, look to improve your vocal technique with some singing lessons. We can always use better technique but remember this. Vocal technique is important but it is a relatively small part of becoming a great singer. Most singing teachers teach similar techniques. They can correct technical problems and get you to sing exercises that help expand your range, improve your vocal control and agility which ultimately helps increase your confidence to sing. In an ideal world you will be able to find an excellent singing teacher right around the corner from where you live and you will be able to easily afford the lessons. This, unfortunately is not always the case.

Finding a singing teacher can be a difficult and time consuming problem. Don't forget that you are the one who decides if that teacher is right for you. It's important to have a rapport with that teacher. They need to be someone you can learn more from than just technique. Remember that 'musical judgment' I mentioned earlier? Find a singing teacher who can not only guide your vocal technique but can give you some insights into improving your musicianship, some advice in making those musical decisions.

Remember to be humble and realize that singing is an art that you can master with patience and great guidance. It's critical that this process brings out your own unique voice, not what your singing teacher wants, but the voice that you have inside of you.

If you cannot find a good singing teacher then consider doing an online singing course. Online singing lessons are more abundant now and there are a some good ones and some poor ones. Just steer clear of things like singing review sites - they usually recommend only the products they get commission for selling and are not to be trusted.

Above all, set your sights high but your expectations low. You must strive always to be better and not be afraid of change. Test yourself with new challenges and concepts, meet lots of like minded people and don't waste time. It's a precious thing that you cant recover and your willingness to set goals and achieve them will help create that singing career that you desire.

What to expect from Phuket nightlife by Prabhat

Phuket nightlife takes on many different forms. Phuket is one of Thailand's top destinations and as such there is a diverse range of nightspots on the island. Although Phuket nightlife is not quite on the same level as in Bangkok, that doesn't mean that you won't be able to find somewhere to have fun.

Phuket nightlife is at its most lively in Patong. You'll either love Patong or you'll hate it. The bars are loud, the clubs are obnoxious and the streets are crowded. That being said, Patong is cheap and the bars and clubs stay open later than in other parts of Phuket.

Patong is famous for its nightlife. The center of the action is found on Soi Bangla, which is a hive of go-go bars, discos and stage shows. This is Phuket nightlife at its most seedy, but it can be a lot of fun if you go in the right frame of mind.

Generally speaking, the bars and clubs in Patong churn out hip hop and dance music hits. It can all be a bit predictable, so don't go expecting anything special.

Patong is also known for its girls. Yes, it's true, there are countless bar girls and sex shows in Patong, but the people of Patong make no effort to conceal these facts. Patong is what it is and it's best not to take the whole place too seriously.

Perhaps the most fun that can be had in Phuket is at some of the local clubs. Phuket nightlife is at its most authentic in the small Thai clubs, where you can check out some of the local bands. Phuket Town is probably the best place to sample some Thai-style clubbing.

Also in Phuket Town there are lots of pubs and beer bars and much less of the seedy side of Phuket nightlife.

There are plenty of other areas where you can go and party, but usually they aren't as busy and entertaining as in Patong or Phuket Town. There are a few exceptions scattered around the island in places such as Surin, Kata-Karon and Nai Harn.

The only area that Phuket really lacks anything in terms of nightlife is serious clubbing. There are a few Phuket clubs where you can hear cutting-edge music, but these are few and far between. However, it is possible to catch electro, techno, breaks, house and more in some Phuket clubs and bars.

Phuket could be a major clubbing destination in Southeast Asia, but the island has a long way to go before it can start competing with the likes of Singapore and KL.

For now, Phuket nightlife has enough depth to keep people entertained, but you feel as if there is more to come. The shining beacon of Phuket nightlife is that there is a great live-music scene around the island. There are lots of bands who can rattle out everything from rock and indie to jazz and blues. If you can get into it, there is a top indie scene in Phuket. Pick up some CDs in a local store to get a feel for the music.

New Fashion Jewelry Trend - Hip Hop Jewelry by Victor Epand

There has been a considerable rise in the demand for hip hop jewelry in the last few years. Various celebrities and rap stars made this form of fashion jewelry popular among people. The term "hip-hop" is provided to jewelry items that have a lot of bright and huge stones on it and are very flashy.

Hip hop and rap stars like Dr. Dre, 50 Cent and Eminem made this jewelry trend very popular. The jewelry they wore was very expensive, costing around thousands of dollars. But now anyone can afford hip hop jewelry that is available in the market in the form of iced out jewelry. Many retailers are offering a wide collection at affordable prices.

Hip hop bracelets are the most popular jewelry item in this category. These bracelets are iced out and have many diamonds like stones studded on, making them look real and flashy. You will see many top rappers and hip hop artists wearing these bracelets in their albums or during stage shows. Now it is easy for the young to afford these bling bracelets and accentuate their wardrobe with loads of styles and shine.

The second iced out jewelry item that has gained a lot of popularity among the youth are pimp cups. It has taken the community of jewelry by storm. Watches are also a popular category of iced out jewelry. These are available in various styles of hip hop replica watches that can be bought without having to spend a huge amount. It's a lot bling at no cost! One replica is Jacob & Co. watches that feature dials for different time zones. There are several iced out stones on the band and face of these watches.

There are several websites on the Internet where you can find great deal of interesting information about hip hop jewelry. It has become a popular choice among youngsters all over the world. You will find men wearing these bling items more than women. They wear it to show their love for hip hop music.

Hip hop jewelry can be found in gold, platinum and silver. As compared to silver, jewelry made of gold and platinum are more expensive. There are certain features that make hip hop jewelry different from others. They are not only flashy and oversized, but very stylish and attractive as well.

Even in the field of dentistry, hip hop jewelry is gaining a lot of popularity. Recently, platinum teeth have been very much in demand. There are many people who are replacing their teeth with permanent platinum teeth. Some even have removable metal jeweled teeth.

Want to look like a rapper? Then be one, by owning a wide selection of hip hop jewelry items. Does hip hop music alienate? by PraShawn Jackson

I red few years ago an article that hip hop music alienate the youth from the society. I think this can not be true, because hip hop community is a society. It can be true that people can lose the sense of reality, when they are in touch with an art and they are living for that art and willing to do anything to keep that art authentic and preserve it from the vultures who are willing to destroy it and abuse it for their own wealth.

So far as the alienation consider, when it comes to the hip hop music no one can alienate me from this culture. I am an one man movement and although my budget is not large I still can contribute to the hip hop culture in other ways than buying albums daily. I think my mother thinks that hip hop is another name for having sex. She wonder why I call my blog hiphopfanatic.com. I feel quite alienated from the society there are no people who I can relate to. Only I can relate to are the rappers, because they are born into the dirt just like me. If you know hunger you will feel the struggle. And born into a racist society people judge you by the background and racial ethnicity can cost you lots of hair and health. I have been chasing a dream having a job and live like the working class people. This is not even possible, when the cocky white kids at your work call me a Ni**er in my face and gossip about me behind my back, gossiping is a habit that every society got to deal with, but throwing racial terms at your dome can hurt my soul. The bosses are looking for someone to do the dirty job. I am really a humble kid, that is my nature. I can not seems to take all the racial terms all the way long from the cocky Caucasians.

I feel like I'd rather be alienated than being a modern house slave for this society who thinks that I only deserve the minimum wage. In my case I know some people who gets alienated in the hip hop culture, since they have no friends. These kinds of people always needs someone around them to show them the way. I never had that kind of cousin or brothers to show me the way. That way I feel that I failed comparing the mediocre standers the majority set. I made lots of mistakes like skipping classes and even passing my math exams drunk. I never knew how to choose the right friends, if they were hip hop fans I was willing to hang out with them. Some kids I knew they only were after the money and their older cousin or brother were cooking for them and they ran studios from houses. I feel like these studio rappers were the alienated ones, they never come out hanging and getting drunk in public with the regular kids like us. They truly got the house slave mentality and they never felt how much stressful it gets and how it feels one of your friends throw him self front of the train. These studio gangstas only know happy times. They do not know what it is like to grow up with no family around you.

And then you have these upper class brothers talking black supremacy, while their label owner is white. They never talked to a kid from the ghetto and they do not have the spine to set up their own labels to make a start of their career. Once this reminds me of the song of Gravediggaz song '12 Jewels'. It said the "old man from Sudan didn't knew the basic principles of the economy". Being your own boss that is the major economical achievement is about. Working for the white man and calling your self black activists and pumping your fist is just lack of awareness and political consciousness. In this modern society rappers are almost doomed to sell their soul to the labels, when a rappers is hungry he will be easily convinced by the A&R's and other record label people. I think the true potential of a socially, economically and politically aware artists does not where the money is running, but where the hearts of the hip hop fans are running. That is preserving of the hip hop culture as an authentic culture and reminding the fans what the true purpose of the hip hop culture is about, which is peace, love and unity. With these three keywords there is no alienation possible for the hip hop fans not even the majority alienates them.

Exercises to Lose Weight Quickly-The Most Effective by Janet Sommers

Who wouldn't wish to lose weight and shed off their sizes right away? But in reality most programs available in the market nowadays just offer temporary weight loss and do not give an opportunity to really lose weight quickly. This is the reality that one dieter must admit to itself.

Aside from temporary results, most programs were not recommended to be followed by most specialists. If done without the supervision of the specialist, some methods may result to further damage in health and sadly, may lead to death. Some approach uses diet pills, hard to maintain diets, and strenuous exercises to lose weight which all in all were not proven to be effective.

Why do you have to take oral diet pills? Or why do you have to maintain an impossible diet plan and how could you live well with strenuous military-like exercises? Why not follow sure technique? Techniques that would not endanger your life but would make you feel healthier while losing weight.

Exercise is still the best way to shed off fats - if you don't want to move your body then stop dreaming that sexy, healthy and ideal body. Even if you eat according to a nutritionist's diet plan, but if you don't do exercises to lose weight, you are fooling yourself.

Being overweight is not healthy and if you are scared of the irreversible side effects related to being overweight; you must do your part. Move your body and do the exercises to lose weight quickly before it's too late. By following real exercises to lose weight quickly, you may expect regaining your self confidence, self esteem and self worth because of the dramatic results.

Never feel intimidated again because the most effective weight loss exercise to lose weight quickly is now exposed. Aside from being effective, you'll find the exercises to lose weight quickly to be:

* Fun

* Enjoyable

* Unlimited

* Not too strict

You know the reason why?

Because the exercises that you would do are not less than the thing you WANT to do, ABLE to do and LOVE to do; choose the type of exercise that is suitable to your body physique and stature. Do not overdo something because it may lead to complications both physical and mental health.

Every single move on your exercises to lose weight quickly must be ideal. The range of motion should be within your physical capacity. Why would you try to run 5 miles if your body is not suit to run that long? The risk of hypertension and possible heart attack would be there.

Not everyone could run especially those with heart ailments and proper precautions should be undertaken. This is the same with other people who are trying to lose weight due to underlying health conditions or those who are advised by their doctors. Don't take chances.

Try dancing or walking even 30 minutes a day; it would help. Anything that would let you sweat and feel the muscle contractions are the best exercises to lose weight quickly. While dancing hip hop, you abs are starting to form and curve - so many things that you could do without straining your self but seeing remarkable results through exercises.

By Going To Kashmir Led Zeppelin Gave The World A Masterpiece by Virgil The StoryTeller

Kashmir is a region of the East that contains the Indian state of Kashmir as well as parts of China. Historically, Kashmir has been an important center of that geographical area, and it has recently known political and social turmoil due to the intersecting cultures found there.

It is no surprise that such a culturally rich part of the world found itself the title subject of a song by the world’s most popular hard rock band. In the song Kashmir Led Zeppelin paints a vivid picture of a traveler moving across the great dry sea of one of the world’s deserts, moving inexorably towards his destination even as reality crumbles around him and he implores the gods to give him safe deliverance. Included on the album ‘Physical Graffiti’, the song opens with the lyrics ‘Oh let the sun beat down upon my face, stars to fill my dream / I am a traveler of both time and space, to be where I have been’. This opening stanza indicates the state of mind of Robert Plant when he composed it while driving through the vast expanse of the Sahara Desert in Morocco. Plant found himself filled with wonder at the natural surroundings, and many have speculated that in the emptiness between the sand and the stars he felt a spiritual communion that made its way into the final recording of the song.

It is not surprising that Kashmir has remained one of the most enduring songs in Led Zeppelin’s catalog. It is a personal favorite of both Jimmy Page and Robert Plant, both of whom feel that their performances on that record fully tapped their respective abilities as songwriters. Bassist and keyboardist John Paul Jones agrees, and he has repeatedly stated that in Kashmir Led Zeppelin incorporated melodic elements that had previously eluded their studio recordings. The band played the track at every single live performance post-release, and it is also one of the songs that the surviving members usually choose to play at their rare reunion shows. For their 1994 album ‘No Quarter’, Page and Plant performed a stunning live version of Kashmir backed by a full string and Moroccan rhythm section onstage, using it as the album and show closer.

Kashmir remains a masterpiece of Led Zeppelin’s legacy, and it has achieved a level of cultural status that has seen it covered and sampled by groups from genres as diverse as instrumental progressive rock and hip hop.

Linkin Park A Mix Of Hip Hop And Classic Rock Come Together For A New Rock Music Sound by Vin Hayes

Linkin Park's style combines old-school hip hop and classic rock with electronic vibes. Chester Bennington and the boys have been rockin' the eardrums of loyal fans for 8 years now! It wasn't easy and they had their fair share of trouble to deal with along the way.

Before they became known as Linkin Park, the boys called themselves Xero. Fresh out of high-school, the band practiced, recorded and produced songs in vocalist Mike Shinoda's bedroom recording studio. They found out the hard way that success doesn't come easy. Two band members, deciding success hadn't come fast enough, left the band to pursue their own interests.

The band began the search for a replacement for Mark Wakefield, who had been the lead vocalist. The president of Zoma Music, Jeff Blue, referred Chester Bennington to the group. Bennington's unique vocal style created instant chemistry with the band and they went to work on new material. They changed the band name again, this time to Hybrid Theory and then to Linkin Park a short time later.

Despite having an awesome name and excellent talent, the band was turned down many times for a record contract of their own. Then, in 1999, Jeff Blue, who'd gone on to Warner Bros. signed Linkin Park. Finally, in 2000, the boys launched their debut album called Hybrid Theory.

Linkin Parks debut album was the best selling album of 2001 and sold nearly 5 million copies in its first year. They also got three Grammy nominations for singles on their album and won the award for Best Hard-Rock Performance. The band was awarded Best Rock Video and Best Direction awards by MTV too! These award wins helped to propel the band into the mainstream.

The boys of Linkin Park were becoming more and more popular by the day and within that first year, they performed over 300 concerts! They were invited to participate in several high-profile tours and concerts like Ozzfest and the Family Values Tour. Eventually, they started their own tour they called Projekt Revolution which featured Cypriss Hill, Snoop Dogg and Adema.

The band's second album, Meteora, was released in March of 2003. It shot to the top of the music charts, hitting the #1 spot in the US and UK and earning the #2 spot on the Australian charts. By October, the album had sold almost three million copies and spawned several hit singles and more music awards. A second Projekt Revolution was launched and groups such as Mudvayne and Blindside joined the tour. The boys were also invited to play with Metallica on their Summer Sanitarium Tour 2003.

By 2004, the band's relationship with Warner Brothers had soured and it took months of negotiations to get their contract back on track. Eventually though the details were ironed out and Linkin Park was back in business. They used their talent and fame to benefit those in need. They raised money for Hurricane Charlie and Hurricane Katrina victims as well as many other charitable organizations.

Linkin Park's third release was Minutes to Midnight, which debuted in 2007. Selling over 600,000 copies in the first week, and hitting the number one chart spot, this album was a huge success! The band's collection of awards grew even bigger after this album was released.

Next on the bands agenda? A follow-up to the Minutes To Midnight album after a U.S. Tour. In fact, Bennington told Rolling Stone Magazine that they're already working on the songs for the album. First though, the boys want to go on tour and get some inspiration. Fans say “Hell Ya! Bring it on!”

If you're looking for a band to rock your auditory senses, you gotta listen to Linkin Park! With Chester Bennington's vocals and musical abilities of the rest of the band, they'll rock you all night long.

Usher: He's All That by Jessica Vandelay

Usher, an American R&B singer and actor, has been featured in many magazines in the last year for his personal life and successful music career. Usher Raymond IV came to fame in the mid-1990s. He has sold more than 30 million albums and won five Grammy Awards.

Hailing from Atlanta, Ga. Usher signed a record deal with LaFace Records and recorded a single for the Poetic Justice soundtrack. In 1994 Usher's released his debut self-titled album. Sean "P Diddy" Combs served as producer on several tracks and acted as co-executive producer. The album peaked at number 25 on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart. All of this happened before Usher graduated from high school.

In 1997 Usher released his second album, "My Way," and found success with two singles. He toured with Mary J. Blige, P Diddy and Janet Jackson that same year and received his Grammy nominations. Usher also appeared on the TV show "Moesha" and the feature film "The Faculty." In 1998 he was cast in the soap opera "The Bold and the Beautiful," and appeared in two more films, "She's All That" and "Light It Up." For more on Usher's soap opera turn read Soap Opera Digest; for his other acting endeavors read Entertainment Weekly.

In 2001 Usher released his third studio album called "8701" and spawned three top-performing singles. In 2002 Usher won the Best Male R&B Vocal Performance Grammy for the single "U Remind Me" and the following year for "U Don't Have to Call." In 2003 Usher was featured in a special music issue of Esquire magazine, in which the singer posed as music icon Michael Jackson.

Though Usher had already established a successful career, 2004 is considered his breakthrough year. He released his fourth album Confessions, which sold 1.1 million copies in the first week. Confessions would spawn several top charting singles and sold more than 19 million albums. Usher won several MTV music awards and Billboard Magazine awards.

In 2007 Usher announced he and his fiancée Tameka Foster were expecting a baby boy. The couple planned to wed shortly before the baby's due date but the wedding was abruptly cancelled. Later Usher and Foster married in a quiet ceremony in Atlanta and welcomed their son Usher Raymond V in November. The family now lives in Alpharetta, Ga., just outside of Atlanta. Magazines like People, Essence, Vibe, Ebony and Jet have full coverage of Usher's wedding, reception and baby.

Usher has recently made more magazine headlines for his personal life than his professional music career. In January 2008 he was featured in Ebony magazine and Jet magazine as a supporter of Presidential hopeful Senator Barack Obama.

Usher appears on the cover of the August issue of Essence magazine. In the issue Usher talks about how marriage and fatherhood have changed his life. The interview also includes baby photos.

In 2008 Usher released his sixth album, "Here I Stand," which charted on the Billboard magazine 100 rising to the No. 1 spot in June. The same week, Vibe magazine featured an article on the singer's Apollo Theater concert, calling the performance, "a true testament to the skills Usher has acquired as a seasoned entertainer."

Digging for Gold: Seven Unexpected Places to Find This Popular Metal by Leigh MaherGold is everywhere in the jewelry world: watches, rings, necklace

Gold is everywhere in the jewelry world: watches, rings, necklaces, bracelets and pendants. You can't hop online or walk through a mall without seeing the sparking metal glittering all around you. As beautiful and popular as gold is in jewelry, it can also be found in unexpected and interesting places.

* Gold leaf, whether in fake or dust form, is found in various types of food, typically drinks and sweets as more of a decorative ingredient. Finding this hard to imagine? Think of the sparkling bottles of Goldschlager on a liquor store shelf. Those tiny flecks floating around are real pieces of gold, and yes, it is safe to ingest. There are some who believe that the flakes have a great health benefit and medicinal qualities, but there is no solid evidence to back up those claims.

* Gold is very prevalent in dentistry. Gold alloys are often used in restorative dentistry, in work like crowns and permanent bridges. Gold alloys ability to mold to surfaces helps facilitate a molar "mating" service with other surrounding teeth and has results that seem to be preferred to those in porcelain crowns. On a similar tack, gold is incredibly popular in making "grills," or the teeth coverings seen a lot in the hip hop culture. Many rappers have helped with the popularity of this sparkling trend, and one tooth covering can cost upward of $600.

* Gold is a high conductive metal when it comes to electronics. It has been used for electrical wiring in high energy applications. If you have ever had your stereo short out and need to get to the core of the wiring, you are looking at real gold underneath all of that plastic and tubing.

* Although this may be an obvious use of the metal, gold has been used in currency for hundreds of years. Pirates are famous for their love and plundering of the gold doubloon, although gold is not used in worldwide currency exchange anymore. Many historical gold currencies are very rare and reside in museums, and finding one at an antique shop or garage sale may be an incredibly lucky and profitable one, it may be worth thousands.

* Enjoy watching finely tuned athletes race one another around a track or ski down an icy slope? The medals that adorn their necks on the winners block are crafted from, you guessed it, gold. The same goes for the prestigious medals handed out to the brilliant Nobel peace Prize scholars. Because these medals are literally worth their weight in gold, they are a perfect way to honor these hard working individuals and their contribution to educating about their specific sports and helping unify the world through the camaraderie of competition.

* Gold can easily be made into thread and used in decorative embroidery. Many cultures use a lot of decorative gold threading, including the stunning and richly colored Indian saris. Gold thread is a subtle way to add an accent to an outfit you may be creating, and can bring out undertones in colors like orange and green. At under $5.00 a spool, using gold thread is an affordable way to make your clothing look more decadent.

* Similarly, if you are an ecologically savvy and "green" conscious person, consider moving into a "gold" apartment. Windows in some apartment buildings are coated with gold to help keep heat in during the winter and reflect sun in the summertime. With all of the world coming around to realize the importance of ecological and sustainable responsibility for the preservation of the planet, keeping an eye out for apartments like this when considering a move is a smart and intelligent choice.

Why Vinyl Records Sound Best by Alan Bayer

Analog vs. Digital:

An analog format such as vinyl records are said to be more accurate to the source of the music than digital formats, which convert the music into a digital format, before being converted back to analog for reproduction.

Vinyl records provide a more rich, warm tone than digital formats. The reason for this better tone is because the grooves on records provide more musical data to your amplifier. When the stylus (needle) fits into the groove of the record, it vibrates in such a way that is reminiscent of the soundwaves present when the artists performed the song. When amplified, you get a reproduction of the original performance.

When the musical data is converted into a digital format, there are various "resolutions". To use photos as an example, it would be the difference between a 100x100 pixel picture, and a 1000x1000 pixel picture. For CDs, it is 16-bit. For DVD Audio up to 24-bit. Then, there is a sample rate, which is how often these photos are taken. For CDs, they happen 44,100 times per second. DVD Audio, up to 192,000 times per second. For SACDs, an amazing 2,000,000+ samples per second. You can see how the more advanced digital formats would sound better than CDs, which is how most people listen to digital music.

In the case of digital formats like MP3 and AAC, some of the higher frequencies get pulled out to save space, in addition, these formats are taken from a CD, and compressed, so they could never approach the sound quality of a CD. I expect digital music formats to continue to gain in popularity, and I also expect even better formats to come out, with new digital format remasters, which could sound much better than a CD (Or even DVD-A or SACD), have more customization options, and of course, undisputed portability. Are you listening, record companies?

How specifically vinyl sounds better:

Vinyl seems to reproduce the higher frequencies much better. On digital, high frequencies (voices, cymbals, drums, etc.) sound thinner, harsher, "swishy", simply not as good. On vinyl, these high frequencies sound more natural, less harsh, more "real". Also, very small high-pitched nuances shine through better, like for example when a bass player plucks a string.

Bass seems to sound fuller on vinyl as well. It sounds thicker, richer, more natural, more nuanced. It's nice. When listening to bass on vinyl, you'll know why so many DJs still use vinyl to this day. On digital, bass seems to be muddier, thinner...it has less impact.

It's true that vinyl does have some weaknesses, such as pops and hiss, but these are eliminated if the record is clean. The pops and hiss also add a nostalgic charm to the sound of the music. Some artists, especially hip hop, have incorporated this sound into their music.

If you love the sound of music, and want to hear something that has a better sound than CDs and MP3s, you should give vinyl a listen. Once you hear it, you'll become a fan too!

The Fine Art of Hip Hop Street Promotions by Mello Melanin

Okay so you've finished your album so now its time to let the streets know about you. How do you do this? What is it? Well let me break it down for you.

First of all, before you do anything you should have identified your target market. These would be, in so many words, the people most likely to buy your music. You need to know as much about this market as you can.

Once you've found these people and finished your album you should let them know about your album. This will take some footwork and its not a short term plan. You need to have some flyers made. A flyer with some fancy graphics is great but a flyer with text on it is good enough to get the job done. Get as many flyers made that your budget calls for (yes, you need a budget). Then go to the places where your target market hangs out. This could be clubs, restaurant, obviously record stores, health food store, etc.

What most street promoters do is put flyers under the windshield wipers or in the door jams of the cars in the parking lots of clubs. Sometimes you might get chased away by a property owner so if they tell you there's no soliciting, just leave. Most of the time you won't have that problem, but if you do, just go to the next venue. On any promotional material, always make sure you put your contact information on it so that people can connect with you. You'll miss out on some opportunities if you don't.

And make sure you put on there where they can buy your music and have some samples of it on you. I learned that one the hard way! I ran into the Hip hop legend Scarface once and I gave him a flyer. He said, "I hear you talkin' bout the music but I don't hear it. Where's yo CD?"

I'm glad I had one in the car or else I would've looked really amateur.

Always keep samples while you're out! The key to this strategy is to use repeat marketing. This means that you have to hit those same spots and keep promoting your music more than once. Your budget is going to dictate how many flyers you can distribute.

You will meet a lot of people while you are out so make sure you have a pen and paper or some way to collect contact information. You will never know who you'll run into on the street. Now this may take a while to generate a buzz but let's look at it from a numbers perspective:

Let's say you have an opportunity to run a full page ad in a major rap magazine like The Source or Vibe. Well let's throw out a cost of $30,000 for the ad. Okay so you got a nice beautiful ad that will ONLY RUN ONE TIME in the magazine.

Plus people will generally respond to a marketing message over period of time. Research shows that it takes approximately 7 times so that ad ain't gonna cut it. On the other hand if you had invested that 30 grand in street promotions you could have hit your target market at least those 7 times and then some. Do the math! I hope this gets your creative juices flowing on how you can get your name and music out to the streets. If you have any questions you can email me at mello@free-hot-rap.com.

Introduction About Music Management by Bhrat Brij

There comes a time in many musicians' lives where they feel they need management. Remember, not only signed artists feel they need management, sometimes people in the independent music field feel this way as well. A manager is someone who, in a nutshell, runs the business side of the artist's career in the music industry. An artist or band manager will play many roles. One role they fill is handling all the music contacts. These music contacts include club owners, agents, labels, A&R, promoters and many other professionals in the music industry. The manager may also handle marketing, promoting, tours, budgeting and booking shows. A manager may have to wear many hats so it is important to pick someone who is reliable and trustworthy. When searching for a manager, there are many questions you should ask yourself before settling on one particular person. 1. First, does this manager typically handle your genre or field of music? If you are an India artist, then make sure this manager is prepared to deal with the field of independent music. Are they more into hip hop while you have a more alternative rock feel? It is important to pick a manager that specializes in your genre. 2. Trust your instincts and ask yourself how trustworthy they feel after meeting with them. Are they just tooting their own horn or are they the real deal? 3. How are their references? Ask or call around to other music contacts to see what they say. Hearsay is important in the music industry, believe it or not. 4. How experienced are they? If they are just beginning their career then how well connected are they? But then again, they may put more effort into your band if they have something to prove. Make a list of the pros and cons of each. 5. Do you know anyone else that has worked with them? Find out how ethical they are. You don't want to butt heads with your manager over ethics in the music industry. 6. What style of management are they? Are they go-getters or laid back? Talk to other artists who have worked with them, if possible. 7. Keep in mind that managers usually work for a percentage of what you make. Try to avoid a manager that asks for a salary. Having a valued and honest relationship with your manager is crucial. You want to be on the same page as your manager whether you do independent music or are signed. Make sure your manager is making the proper music contacts and truly believes in you. After all, you don't want to work with, for or beside someone who doesn't have your best interests in mind.
