Chord Piano by Soli Katir

Here are my top 10 reasons for learning “chord piano”: It’s easy. The reason that proper piano instruction is vital to the learning process is that it enables the piano student to learn proper piano playing techniques from a qualified source and gives the student an additional perspective rather than being only self-taught. While it is a cliché that young people complain about piano lessons and piano practice, in reality, many, many young people actually enjoy the process of learning and bettering their skills at the keyboard. Most of you already know that the quickest way to play the piano is by learning chords. I can see advantages in both types of pianos when practicing the art of learning to play piano.
Rhythm If you can only afford a guitar or piano vocal, then get the best player in town â€" I guarantee you that an incredible guitar/vocal or piano/vocal far outweighs a full rhythm production if the session players aren’t tight. While other forms of music, from country and rock and roll to hip hop and rhythm and blues, may not be around five hundred years from now, chances are good that our great, great, great, great, great grandchildren will still be enjoying piano recitals, chamber music and other kinds of classical music. It’s not that anyone is purposefully trying to keep a secret from you, but it’s a rare teacher who has the ability to not only play well but to be able to explain music theory â€" chords, melody, rhythm, dynamics, and all the other elements that contribute to playing the piano well and with feeling.

Timing If you aim for excellence in your piano music, being able to understand musical terms, symbols and ornaments will help you to follow written music more accurately, play with correct timing and expression, and add attractive ornamentation. As before mentioned the art of timing is not the same as mathematically perfect piano playing. To play the notes at your piano on the right keys and with timing does not mean that your notes will be played with mathematic precision. Another important and effective way to develop timing in your piano playing is to play drums. An aspiring pianist would also have to determine a suitable timing to take the lessons from the tutor and later, for practicing the piano lessons on their own.
