Dancing with the Stars: Mark Ballas Talks about Sabrina Bryan by Groshan Fabiola

The latest couple to take the boot in Dancing with the Stars were Sabrina Bryan and Mark Ballas, but the two's partnership doesn't seem to end there. They have now taken their dance floor chemistry up a notch, as their first official date took place last weekend.

Professional dancer Mark Ballas, now Sabrina Bryan's close friend, is ready to go up against the challenge once again and show the world that the couple can do one more stint with Dancing with the Stars. In fact, TV Guide lets us in on the scoop about his partner, Bryan. Ballas said that the initial reaction of viewers about Bryan having a dance background and thus an advantage was totally wrong.

"When I first met her, she was clueless," Ballas revealed. "She could stand with her knees bent and go 'Yeah, yeah, boom, boom, hip hop.' But as far as having your feet turned out properly, your hair in a wonderful beehive hairdo and a ballroom gown with feathers at your feet? She didn't know how to do that. It's a totally different kettle of fish."

However, he admitted that Bryan worked hard to fit into the required elegance and structured style of ballroom, thus becoming like his "protégé." He added, "I've never worked with someone who wanted it so bad and was clinging onto every word I said. And so for me, it was frustrating because she worked so hard. It got very personal."

Because of her passion, Ballas was inspired to come back and dance in the finale. The eliminated couples usually get a brief performance on the dance floor of Dancing with the Stars finals night, but Ballas admits to hearing rumors about them doing a full dance. ABC hasn't confirmed anything yet, as TV Guide reported, but Ballas is ready to take the opportunity once he sees it.

"She was voted off too early," Ballas stated. "She's great, she's lovely, and she was by far the best dancer. No one can take that away from her. So I want to come back to avenge her."
